The WorldVibrations Radio Station & Podcaster (WVRS-P) is the first all-in-one professional quality "radio station and podcaster in a box." It integrates the functions of an internet or conventional automated and/or live radio studio with the ability to create and upload podcasts simultaneously. The unit offers a fully-automated “on-air” studio, streaming media encoding and production and podcasting tools in one fanless studio-quiet package. Podcasts can be captured from live programming originating from the WVRS-P or independently produced, edited and uploaded while the radio station operates uninterrupted in automation mode in the background. The device is simple to operate, making it easy for people with no previous radio experience to schedule and broadcast anything from local arts performances, sporting events, church services or town council meetings to a professional 24 hour a day music or information radio station while producing on-demand podcasts. It also opens up new opportunities for podcasters, letting them repurpose their individual programs into a 24 hour radio format with music, promos and other features added.

BROADCASTS LIVE PROGRAMMING
Plug in a microphone and use "live assist" to insert live announcements and programs into an automated schedule. The WVRS-P supports professional microphones including studio mikes with phantom power. Change programming on the fly, rearrange or add music and announcements by simply dragging and dropping files. Plug in a professional mixing board and set up a studio for live performances and talk shows. The VIA Envy24-based audio controller supports 24 bit audio, which exceeds the needs of most pro radio operations. The WVRS is fanless and will operate silently in a studio.

CREATES PODCASTS SIMULTANEOUSLY
Capture live programming as it is broadcast on the WVRS-P or create and edit custom podcasts while the unit operates in automation mode, uninterrupted, in the background. Record, edit, create XML pages and upload podcasts in a few easy steps.

RUNS FULLY AUTOMATED
Pre-schedule programming, announcements, commercials, news, network feeds, audio streams from other broadcasters and music weeks in advance to run unattended but precisely on time seven days a week, 24 hours a day. For music stations, selections can be shuffled according to frequency of play, tempo, genre, artist or other criteria. Create different formula for different hours of the day or week. Pre-record voice tracks to give your station a “live” sound. Music can be timed so voice tracks play over the intros of songs.

STORES, CAPTURES AND INTEGRATES CONTENT
Integrate radio station and podcast content so they be shared and repurposed. Radio station programming can be used in podcasts and podcasts can be integrated into automated radio programming. Store virtually unlimited content on the WVRS-P's internal hard drive as well as external hard drives through its built-in USB 2.0, IE1394 (Firewire) and Ethernet connectors. Feed programs, interviews, music and other content into the device from portable audio devices.

CREATES LOGS AND PROGRAM GUIDES
Print logs of programs, announcements and music and automatically create HTML playlists and dynamic “what’s playing now” features for your web site. Create logs for music licensing agencies and advertising billing. Stream song titles and other information to Live365 and other internet radio networks, servers and browsers and through digital devices.

CHOICE OF TRANSMISSION
Feed two or more streams of Windows Media, Ogg Vorbis, Real Media or MP3 to media servers over a DSL or cable connection. Connect to a PA system, satellite uplink or, with a license, a transmitter.

LOW POWER CONSUMING, PORTABLE
The WorldVibrations Radio Station & Podcaster is self contained, except for transmitter, media server or other devices that may be required by law for over-the-air broadcasting. Operating on 12 volts, it can run off of a car battery, making it ideal for creating a radio station in a small village in a developing country..

MANAGE FROM ANYWHERE
